Patience is wearing thin for many Buyers trying to get a short sale to close. First time Buyers represent 40% of the short sale transactions, down from 54% in late ’09, and the decrease can partially be attributed to horror stories of the long waits and mumbo jumbo of ‘whose on first?’ in the lender lineup. No improvement has taken place in this circus of approvals fior a short sale. It seems obvious that a trust deed note holder would want to make a deal cleanly and quickly since allowing the home to go into foreclosure ensures that the hit will be larger to their bottom line.
